We are right here, celebrating an 18-1 season. Maybe someday you could shoot for such a lofty goal. Although 14-6 isn't TOO bad, but it's just not quite there. Look at it this way, if it were the college BCS, you wouldn't even have made a bowl game...
Maybe the Giants should switch over so they can feast on the Dolphins, Jets and Bills all season to pad their record? It must really be tough to have a lowly 14-6 team drive your QB into the ground like a railroad spike, confound your offense and flat out outplay you for the Super Bowl. Now onto baseball season. Go Yanks!! Later, Claude
Everybody knows the Pats went 18-1 (and not 19-0) to keep the rest of the whining losers happy. Just imagine how much more howling would be done about them cheating if they completed the perfect season...you don't REALLY think the Patriots left everything out on the field Sunday do you?
The Pats did great this year, I mean 18-1 isn't anything to scoff at. However, you can't deny that the Giants took the Pats winning streak ... their 18-0 ... their 'perfection' that I've been hearing about for weeks ... along w/ their haughtiness ... and just kicked it to the curb. And that is why I can't seem to wipe this grin off my face. Justice was served!!
The only thing the Pats didn't leave on the field Sunday was their poor sport coach who scurried away before the game was even finished. In addition, congratulations to all 200 loyal Patriots fans that showed up to welcome their 18-1 team back to Foxboro stadium at 5:00 PM last night. Now THAT'S some fan base. Later, Claude
You know that book the Patriots were given such a hard time about that got pulled off from Amazon.com regarding a perfect season? Called 19-0? Well, it was done by the Boston Globe, which just so happens to be owned by the New York Times...so it was a blasted NY company trying to capitalize on the success of the Patriots, and the Patriots took the heat for it...
New York Times or not, I didn't hear any of the Patriots camp begging them not to print that book. All I know is that the Giants played hard, put a severe beating on Pretty Brady and won themselves a Super Bowl. They also left the Pats as the only team with an 18-1 record without rings. As for those Manning girls, they beat an even prettier queen for the Super Bowl. On to baseball. Go Yanks 2008!! Later, Claude

The Manning girls are the least liked sisters in the country.
