Every Veteran's Day I go on a day trip to Vermont w/ my parents and sister. We have done this since we moved to N.Y. 16 years ago (wow, I can't believe it's been 16 years??!!). Some things have changed since then, like spouses and children, but we still keep this tradition. There have been a few years when the caravan to the North Country has been, well, kind of large. This year, there were 7 of us that went.

Last weekend we went to Northern N.H. to have some R&R w/ Brad, Shelley, Ellie and Ava Chappell. It was gorgeous !!! It had been a while since I had the opportunity to see the Milky Way and I was glad to get reacquainted. Mostly we ate, chatted and then ate some more. And I wonder why my clothes are getting tight ??!!??
Oh, and did I mention that the temperature was a balmy 20 degrees?

On Sunday, the Howe family met at Gordon and Sue's for a lunch reminiscent of Thanksgiving. Later there was a friendly game of football. Here are some photos from the day.

On Saturday, the Howe family got together to celebrate Gordon's 65th birthday. We had a nice lunch at Delmonico's. Here are some of the pictures. I somehow managed to NOT get a picture of Tim and Jen, but they were there too. Sorry guys.
